The Municipal Council of Arraiolos was present at the inauguration ceremony of the new Commander of the Active Corps of the Voluntary Firefighters of Arraiolos. The ceremony took place on September 11th, in the noble hall of AHBVA.

The new commander is Gonçalo Alexandre Coelho Lopes, who took office during this solemn session.

Jorge Macau, Mayor of the Municipal Council of Arraiolos, attended the ceremony. In his speech, Macau referred to the importance and uniqueness of the date and the moment for the local community.
