'I want Supernova to be a welcoming place for artists,' says Roberto Verta, stage curator

Roberto Verta, curator of the Supernova stage, first set foot at Cidade do Rock in 1985, when he worked at the former RCA record label (now part of Sony Music). A native of Santos, he also had experience as a DJ at well-known venues in the city, such as Clube XV and Heavy Metal. At the time, he never imagined that four decades later he would be involved in an event marked by memories like the B-52's show, rain, and lots of mud.

Later, Verta joined the band Harry, a pioneer of electrorock in Brazil. His experience on stage and backstage put him on the path of producing major international shows in Brazil, including performances by Nirvana in 1993, as well as Madonna's "Sticky & Sweet Tour" (2008) and "MDNA" (2012), U2's "360° Tour" (2011), and Roger Waters' "The Wall Live" (2012).

After these projects, Verta developed an entertainment and live music platform. Regarding the Supernova stage, the curator states that he wants it to be a welcoming place for artists.
