The candidate for governor of Rio de Janeiro for the PSD party, Eduardo Paes, was interviewed this Friday by the media outlets EXTRA, Globo, Valor and CBN. The interview was conducted by CBN Rio anchors Bianca Santos and Leandro Resende, by the political editor of the EXTRA and Globo newspapers Thiago Prado, by columnist Bernardo Mello Franco, and by Francisco Góes, head of the Valor newspaper's Rio bureau.
The interview started at 10:30 AM and lasted one and a half hours. During the interview, Paes promised to end political influence in public security, called candidate Douglas Ruas "daddy's little boy," and criticized what he called Bolsonaro's "rotten finger" in Rio.
The series of interviews with candidates for governor of Rio opened on Tuesday with candidate Douglas Ruas (PL), followed by William Siri (PSOL) on Wednesday and Anthony Garotinho (Republicanos) on Thursday. Each interview lasted one and a half hours.
