On the Espaço Favela stage during another day of Rock in Rio, funk artist Puterrier, from Del Castilho in Rio's North Zone, led an animated performance featuring several proibidão funk hits. The artist called on the audience to dance and sing in chorus, bringing together what he called "all tribes," including emos and favela residents.
MC Carol, a funk music success and also recognized as Mirtes from the soap opera "Quem ama cuida," took the stage to join Puterrier. Together, they excited the crowd with songs like "Vou investir em você," "Meu namorado é otário," and "Minha vó tá maluca." Carol showed her charisma by asking for fans to cool the audience down and interacting with fans.
Before going on stage, Carol confessed to being so involved with filming the soap opera that she was having trouble remembering her own song lyrics. The artist was invited to hum one of her hits and ended up stumbling before the performance.
The performance took place on the same day marked by K-pop's debut at the Rock in Rio festival, representing a mix of tribes and musical genres at the event.
