The Minister of Health met with the Board of Directors of the Local Health Unit (ULS) of Nordeste. The main objective of the meeting was the exchange of information between the ministry and the administration of the health unit.

During the meeting, the Board of Directors of ULS Nordeste presented to the minister the strategic governance axes that were outlined for the medium and long term. These axes represent the unit's action plan for the coming years.

The meeting reflects the direct contact between the central government and the local health units, which are responsible for providing healthcare to the population of a given region. ULS Nordeste covers municipalities in the district of Bragança, in the north of Portugal.
