Angolan regulator fines Chamber of Official Dispatch Agents for illegal price fixing

SAPO11 September 2026 at 21:49

The Competition Regulatory Authority (ARC) of Angola applied a fine of more than 7.2 million kwanzas, equivalent to nearly 6,800 euros, to the Chamber of Official Dispatch Agents. The sanction was applied for the practice of illegal price fixing.

The regulatory body announced today the application of this fine, with the ARC itself disclosing the information about the penalty imposed on the Chamber of Official Dispatch Agents.

The practice of illegal price fixing consists of companies or entities agreeing among themselves the amounts to charge for their services, which violates competition rules and harms consumers.
