A total of 402 specialized technology centers were created in schools throughout the country, representing an investment of 500 million euros. This measure aims to strengthen vocational education in Portugal.
The announcement was made by the Minister of Education, Fernando Alexandre, this Friday. The specialized technology centers operate integrated within schools and aim to provide students with more practical and specialized training.
This 500 million euro investment demonstrates the government's commitment to valuing vocational education as an alternative to traditional academic education, seeking to bring students closer to the labor market.
