The Direção-Geral das Artes (DGArtes) approved 84 projects under the Programming competition of the Project Support Program for 2025. The competition received a total of 275 applications, of which 189 received no financial support.

The vast majority of rejected applications, 158 in total, will not receive any funding. The remaining 31 rejected applications had previously received support from other programs but were not selected for this edition.

The Project Support Program is an initiative by DGArtes that funds cultural programming projects in various areas of the arts. The Programming competition is one of several programs the entity manages to support the cultural sector in Portugal.

The Sines Liquefied Natural Gas Terminal ensured 97% of gas entries in Portugal in 2025, receiving 46 vessels that unloaded 47.7 TWh of LNG. Nigeria and the United States concentrated 93% of the cargoes, with 52% and 41% respectively, while Russia increased its share to 7%. Land interconnections with Spain represented only 3%, despite doubling to 1.5 TWh. Portugal consumed 45 TWh of gas, 11% more than in 2024, and exported 3.4 TWh to Spain, maintaining an export balance for the second consecutive year. The terminal occupancy rate stood at around 61%.
