FUNDÃO: Open day of archaeological excavations at the Vale Feitoso Settlement

The Municipality of Fundão, through the Municipal Museum of Fundão, in collaboration with the Parish Council of Pêro Viseu, promoted an open day of archaeological excavations at the Vale Feitoso Settlement. The initiative included guided visits to this proto-historic site, considered one of the least known heritage examples of the parish of Pêro Viseu. The event allowed the public to closely observe the archaeological work carried out at the site. The settlement of Vale Feitoso is being studied by Professor Raquel Vilaça and Pedro Batista, from the Faculty (incomplete information in the article). This research is part of an effort to reveal and preserve the archaeological heritage of the Fundão region.
