The foundations linked to entities associated with CECA allocated more than 1,004 million euros to Social Work in Spain during 2025, a figure that positions them as the main private social investor in the country. This data was highlighted during the annual meeting of the Executive Committee of Social Work and Foundations of CECA, which took place on September 10 and 11 in Logroño.
Representatives from about twenty foundations from throughout Spain attended the meeting, bringing together the main responsible parties for social investment activities of the entities associated with CECA. This concentration of resources demonstrates the significant weight these foundations have in the Spanish private social investment landscape.
The celebration comes in the context of a year in which the Social Work of the financial institutions associated with CECA maintains its commitment to social, cultural and educational impact projects throughout the Spanish territory. This investment positions the foundations as a fundamental pillar of the third sector in Spain.
