Açoriano Oriental11 September 2026 at 17:57

Madeira recorded a surplus of 157.3 million euros in the trade balance of goods transactions in 2025. This result represents a positive milestone for the autonomous region's economy.

The information was made available by the Regional Directorate of Statistics (DREM), responsible for the compilation and analysis of statistical data for the region.

According to the data revealed, Madeiran exports grew at a higher rate than imports, thus contributing to the achievement of this trade surplus. This performance reflects an improvement in the region's goods trade balance during the period under analysis.
