A visitor discovered the D'Alena restaurant, located in the hills of Loulé, in the Algarve, and highlighted it on social media for its panoramic views and affordable prices. Through a video posted on the page @lisbon_is_special (by Alexandra Vasconcelos), the space gained online attention, showing the Algarve landscape, the dishes served and the sunset. The author described the experience as "one of the most beautiful sunset dinners she's ever seen in the Algarve" and recommended advance reservations, especially for those wishing to dine during sunset.
The restaurant features several main courses for €20 or less. The house codfish costs exactly €20 and is served with potato migas, corn bread and tomato sauce. Other options include codfish migas with seafood for €18, grilled black pork secrets for €18, salmon pavé for €18, shrimp risotto for €19 and mushroom risotto for €15. The visitor also recommended the space as a place where "you don't want to look at the clock" during dinner.
For those who prefer small plates, the menu includes pork cheek croquettes for €3.50 each, soup of the day for four euros, half roasted chouriça for six euros, Algarve-style tomatada for €6.50, game sausage migas for eight euros and Bulhão Pato style mushrooms for €10. However, the €20 mentioned refers only to the main course, not including cover charge, drinks or dessert. The basket of homemade Loulé bread with butter costs €2.50 and the cheese with Algarve honey is priced at four euros.
