The Ribeira Grande City Hall is celebrating World Tourism Day, a date celebrated on September 27. The municipality decided to mark this occasion with the holding of activities directed at residents and visitors of the municipality.
The main activity chosen for this celebration was canyoning, a sport practice that involves progression through gorges and waterfalls. This modality allows participants to experience unique experiences in direct contact with nature.
The initiatives promoted by the municipality aim to provide new experiences to participants. At the same time, they aim to contribute to the enhancement and promotion of the natural and tourist heritage of the municipality of Ribeira Grande, highlighting the potential of the region as a tourist destination.
