Minister Cristiano Zanin, of the Brazilian Supreme Court (STF), asked the president of the Court, Edson Fachin, for access to the full content of former banker Daniel Vorcaro's cell phone, which contains messages from the former owner of Banco Master to be analyzed during the trial next Tuesday. The data was extracted from an iPhone 17 Pro seized in the first phase of Operation Compliance Zero and, according to the document, is available at the office of Minister André Mendonça.
The request is included in a cover letter sent to Fachin on Friday, right after the president of the STF was also approached by Minister Alexandre de Moraes. At the center of next week's trial, Moraes argued that the Plenary should not only discuss the messages sent to him by Vorcaro, but also the Federal Police intelligence reports that attribute alleged "bias" to André Mendonça in conducting the Master case.
