Fitch confirms NOS rating at 'BBB' with stable outlook

Jornal Económico11 September 2026 at 17:12

The financial rating agency Fitch Ratings confirmed, on September 11, the long-term credit rating of NOS at BBB, maintaining the stable outlook. This assessment reflects NOS's consolidated positions in the Portuguese market and its robust financial performance.

Fitch expects NOS to remain a leading telecommunications operator in Portugal, a position sustained by its extensive fiber optic coverage and its leading infrastructure in 5G technology.

The rating agency also highlights that the company's net leverage on EBITDA should remain at comfortable levels and appropriate to the assigned rating.

In a statement, the operator highlighted that the confirmation of this long-term credit rating reinforces its ability to access financing in the market on competitive terms.
