A zoo in South Korea revealed the name of a giant panda cub born at its facility, coinciding with its 100 days of life. The cub will be named Shu Bao, which in Chinese means "a treasure as bright as the light of dawn." The name was selected through a vote on social media and a public voting event that had the participation of 10,000 people. Shu Bao, born on June 3 at the Everland theme park, near Seoul, is the third youngest sister of Fu Bao, the first giant panda born in South Korea, who gained great popularity in the country before returning to China. The cub's parents, Ai Bao and Le Bao, arrived in South Korea from China's Sichuan province in 2016 as part of China's "panda diplomacy."
