Herdade Barranco do Vale has launched a skin-contact Viognier wine limited to just 2,600 bottles. The wine, from the 2025 vintage, is produced through a process of prolonged contact between the must and the grape skins and seeds, a technique that gives the wine its characteristic orange hue and greater tannic structure. This is a highly limited and exclusive production, intended only for a select number of consumers. The launch was reported by the Barlavento portal.
