Galatasaray intends to file a formal complaint with UEFA regarding the refereeing in the match against Sporting, for the Champions League. The Istanbul club believes that the refereeing team's decisions harmed the Turkish team during the match.

The information is being reported by the Turkish press, which states that Galatasaray believes it was the victim of refereeing errors that influenced the result of the match.

The match in question pitted Galatasaray against Sporting, in a Champions League knockout round, a competition where both clubs were fighting for a place in the next stages.

The formal complaint to be submitted to UEFA follows what the Turkish media classifies as questionable decisions that allegedly favored Sporting during the duel.
