Education in Portugal has lost quality and the Government is adopting measures to reverse this situation. The Prime Minister highlighted the main initiatives that are being implemented to improve the education system.
Among the measures highlighted by the head of Government is the reinforcement of teacher appreciation, recognizing the importance of these professionals for the quality of education. The Executive also refers to the requalification of schools and changes to curricula as priorities.
Another measure being implemented involves the restriction of mobile phones in schools, an initiative that aims to reduce distractions and contribute to a better learning environment.
The Executive acknowledges that there are problems in the education sector, but expresses confidence that these measures could contribute to the recovery of education quality in Portugal.
