The third-to-last stage of the 2026 Vuelta a España was decided at the summit of Peñas Blancas, in the Malaga town of Estepona. The Irishman Eddie Dunbar took the stage victory, achieving his first success in the Spanish tour.
Enric Mas, a Mallorcan cyclist, maintained the lead of the general classification with the red jersey, easily controlling the offensive by the Slovenian Primoz Roglic, who finished in second place in the stage.
Roglic is the second placed in the general classification, with only two stages remaining until the end of the 2026 edition of the Vuelta a España, with the battle for the general classification still open.
