Lisbon Metro has launched an assistance number to inform passengers about the availability of elevators and escalators in the stations, as well as suggest alternative routes when these equipment are out of service.
According to the data mentioned in the article, in February there were 38 elevators and 40 escalators stopped in Lisbon Metro stations.
The new service aims to improve the passenger experience, particularly for those with reduced mobility, who depend on these equipment to access the stations and trains.
This initiative comes as a response to frequent complaints from users about the lack of information regarding broken elevators and escalators in the Lisbon metro system.
