The 5th edition of Mondego Agrícola – Crop Fair concluded in Montemor-o-Velho after two days focused on innovation, technology, knowledge and qualification in the agricultural sector, with a positive outcome. The event was held at Campo do Sabico and brought together farmers, companies, specialists, institutions and the educational community to discuss the challenges and future of agriculture in the region and the country.
At the opening session, the mayor of Montemor-o-Velho, José Veríssimo, reaffirmed the municipality's support for farmers and advocated for a more responsive approach to the sector's challenges. In a municipality particularly affected by floods at the beginning of the year, the mayor thanked those who provided assistance but called for greater involvement from the Ministry of Agriculture.
