VILA NOVA DE FOZ CÔA DELIVERS NEW HOUSING UNDER THE 1ST RIGHT PROGRAM

The Municipality of Vila Nova de Foz Côa will deliver the keys to new housing on September 15th, at a ceremony scheduled for 5:00 PM at Rua do Picadeiro. The ceremony will feature the presence of the Minister of Infrastructure and Housing, Miguel Pinto Luz. The housing was built under the 1st Right Program, a support program for access to housing.

The 1st Right Program aims to support people and households living in situations considered undignified housing who do not have the financial capacity to independently find an adequate housing solution. The initiative represents a new response to the housing needs of the municipality in the district of Guarda.

For the Municipality, the delivery of the housing fulfills a support measure for families and is part of a strategy to strengthen housing and social cohesion in the territory. The delivery will allow several families access to adequate and more stable housing conditions.
