Pará stood out as an origin of bus passengers heading to Rio de Janeiro in the final stretch leading up to the dates of Rock in Rio 2026. A survey conducted by the Buszap platform, specialized in selling bus tickets via WhatsApp, revealed a significant increase in demand for bus trips to the city of Rio.

According to the study updated this Wednesday (9), the number of bus passengers heading to Rio de Janeiro grew 224% compared to the same period of the festival in 2024. The significant growth indicates a trend of increasing demand for road trips to the musical event.

The Buszap platform is responsible for compiling data on bus ticket sales, functioning as a sales channel through WhatsApp. The survey focuses specifically on the final stretch leading up to the dates of Rock in Rio 2026.
