The Supreme Federal Court (STF) is evaluating adopting a reinforced security scheme for the extraordinary session scheduled for next Tuesday, the 15th, when the ministers will analyze the developments of the crisis involving members of the Court itself.
The forecast, at the moment, is that the session will be open to the public, but with an access control model similar to the one adopted by the court in the trials related to the January 8, 2023 attacks. O GLOBO has learned that the Supreme Court is already working with the perspective of a session that will require special attention given the repercussion and sensitivity of the trial.
For now, there is no decision to close the plenary to the public. The tendency is to keep the session open, with measures to control circulation and access to the Court's premises. In the trials of the defendants for the January 8 acts, the Supreme Court adopted special security measures and access control to the plenary, including prior accreditation.
