The mayor of São Paulo, Ricardo Nunes, announced this Friday (11) that the municipal administration would contact the Supreme Court to verify whether the Instituto Conhecer Brasil, an organization linked to businesswoman Karina Ferreira da Gama, producer of the film "Dark Horse", should suspend its activities. According to Nunes, if the consultation to the STF confirms that the company can no longer maintain contracts, the City Hall will break the agreement with the NGO.

The organization in question is responsible for installing various wifi points in the capital of São Paulo. Nunes explained that, after Minister Flávio Dino's decision on Thursday, the institute was considered inactive from a commercial operations standpoint, and that in exceptional cases it is necessary to consult the STF.

The case involves investigations into the financing of the film "Dark Horse". Flavio Bolsonaro is investigated in an inquiry related to the topic, with the approval of Mendonça. Dino's decision on Thursday affected the legal situation of the Instituto Conhecer Brasil, prompting the consultation to the higher court by the São Paulo City Hall.
