The seven weapons seized by the Federal Police during searches at addresses linked to Federal Deputy Mario Frias (PL-SP) were not declared by him in his candidacy registration with the Electoral Court. The arsenal, with an estimated value of R$ 60 thousand, was found during an operation carried out to investigate details of the financing of the film "Dark Horse," which tells the story of former President Jair Bolsonaro.
The weapons were registered in Frias's name but were found at an address different from the one declared by him, and in an irregular situation. The armaments were also not included in the asset declaration made by the parliamentarian in his attempt for re-election to the Chamber of Deputies this year.
The suspicions about the use of funds used to finance the film's production also led to the opening of an inquiry by the PF against SenatorFlávio Bolsonaro, brother of former President Jair Bolsonaro.
