The current campaign guidance is to affirm that the resources destined for the production are of private origin and that there was no irregularity in the senator's participation in seeking investors.
The details of the investigation provoked irritation in the PL's leadership and in part of the campaign team. Members of the political nucleus were aware that the financing of "Dark Horse" was under investigation, but were unaware that Bolsonaro was formally listed as an investigated party in a proceeding at the STF. The discovery of the candidate's name being included as part of the investigation caught allies by surprise.
Allies told the reporter that they intend to demand an explanation from the candidate for the lack of prior notice about information considered relevant to the campaign. The absence of communication about his status as an investigated party at the STF generated internal friction at the PL.
