The secondary school of Porto de Mós was requalified and will reopen this school year with an expanded educational offer. The institution will have students from 5th grade to 12th grade, totaling 1,130 students.
The requalification allows for the integration of about 250 students from the 2nd cycle who attended Dr. Manuel de Oliveira Perpétua School, which is being closed with this reorganization.
With the closure of Dr. Manuel de Oliveira Perpétua School, its 2nd cycle students will be transferred to the requalified secondary school, which will now accommodate a more diverse student population.
