The Socialist Party deputies Eurico Brilhante Dias and Catarina Louro presented a request for explanations about the closure of the Juízo de Proximidade de Alvaiázere. The parliamentarians want to know what are "the safety and health conditions that currently prevent the functioning" of this judicial instance located in the district of Leiria.
The request comes following the closure of this proximity court, which serves the population of the municipality of Alvaiázere. The Socialist deputies intend to obtain concrete clarification on the reasons that led to the decision to close the Juízo de Proximidade and on the conditions invoked to justify this measure.
