EU approves 6.1 billion euros for air defense and electronic warfare

The European Union approved a 6.1 billion euro financing destined for Ukraine's air defense and electronic warfare. The amount was announced through a statement from the European Commission.

This financing's main objective is to support Ukraine's capacity to resist continuous Russian attacks. Specifically, the support aims to strengthen defense against ballistic missiles and drones coming from Russia.

The European Commission is the institution responsible for managing and announcing this military support package to Ukraine, in the context of the ongoing conflict.

Coimbra Municipal Assembly approves elevation of Eiras to town status

The Coimbra Municipal Assembly unanimously approved a deliberation requesting the elevation of the settlement of Eiras to the category of town, a process that will now proceed to the Assembly of the Republic.
