Manuela Bergerot, spokesperson for Más Madrid in the Madrid Assembly, starred in the second day of the Debate on the State of the Region, which is the last of the legislative term and which Isabel Díaz Ayuso defined as "the last as president." Bergerot delivered a very harsh speech against the Madrid president.
In her speech, Bergerot directly addressed the issue of the controversial penthouse purchased in April by the public company Planifica Madrid, questioning whether Ayuso ever actually slept in that dwelling. The question became one of the central points of her speech.
Before addressing the penthouse matter, the Más Madrid spokesperson urged the Madrid president to welcome in the region "all the children, girls and asylum seekers that are needed" to help ease the situation in Ceuta, thus showing her position on the migration crisis.
