Striker Sorba Thomas, from Hull City, was involved in a car accident on Friday, near the club's training ground, in Cottingham, England. The 27-year-old player's vehicle flipped and ended up upside down on a residential road.
Images of the car circulated on social media and caused concern among fans, as the car was heavily damaged. Hours after the accident, Hull City released a statement reassuring fans about the player's condition.
The club confirmed that Sorba Thomas emerged uninjured from the vehicle without suffering any injuries. "Hull City is pleased to confirm that Sorba Thomas emerged uninjured following a traffic accident near the club's training ground in Cottingham," Hull City wrote in an official statement.
