China's passenger car exports grew 67.1% in August, surpassing 6.2 million units accumulated so far this year. This growth already represents a volume exceeding the total forecast for 2025, demonstrating a significant acceleration in China's export sector.
The export advance is being driven mainly by electric and hybrid vehicles, which have been gaining market share in various countries. This performance contrasts with the trend observed in the Chinese domestic market, where sales continue to decline.
China is thus positioning itself as an increasingly dominant player in the global automotive industry, taking advantage of international demand for new energy vehicles. The automotive sector thus becomes one of the main engines of China's export economy.
