António Silva left Benfica for Bournemouth this summer, in a transfer worth 25 million euros, which could rise by another five million in objectives. The Portuguese international quickly became an important piece in the English team.
Everything happened in the match against Lincoln, for the English League Cup. Starting for Bournemouth, António Silva saw his name appear in Sky Sports' usual graphics that present the starting eleven.
The problem was that the television station decided to put the full name of the centre-back: António João Pereira Albuquerque Tavares da Silva. The long name of the former Benfica player took up practically all the available space in the graphics and ended up invading the image of the pitch where Bournemouth's tactical formation was represented.
A small detail that caused chaos on screen and quickly caught viewers' attention.
