Trail Cabeça Aldeia Natal takes place on December 27th in the Mountain Village of Cabeça, in the municipality of Seia, in an initiative that reaches its 7th edition. The route consists of 15 kilometers, with departure scheduled for 10:00 AM, from the center of the village.
The event is part of the Cabeça Aldeia Natal program, combining the practice of mountain sports with the enhancement of the natural heritage of the Serra da Estrela and the experience of the Christmas atmosphere enjoyed in the village during the last days of December. The route allows participants and companions to discover the local decorations and traditions.
The organization is the responsibility of the Compartes da Aldeia de Cabeça, in partnership with the Municipality of Seia. The proceeds from the initiative are destined for path cleaning, improvement of common land management and planting of native trees, thus associating sporting practice with the promotion of active tourism and care for the territory.
Registrations are open on the ACorrer platform, with a cost of 15 euros per participant, including the lunch option. An option for companions is also available for 8 euros. The deadline for payment is December 21st at 11:59 PM.
