Passos Coelho warns Montenegro again: "time is running out"

Former Prime Minister Pedro Passos Coelho once again directed a warning to the current Prime Minister, Luís Montenegro, stating that "time is running out." The statements were made in the context of a public address in which Passos Coelho assessed the government's performance.

Passos Coelho considered that Montenegro must be bold in his leadership and advocate a "truly reformist" agenda for the country. This is not the first time the former PSD leader has expressed similar concerns regarding the current governance.

The warning comes at a time when the executive faces challenges on multiple fronts, including economic and social issues that require swift responses. Passos Coelho's message appears intended to pressure the government to accelerate the promised reforms.

The former Prime Minister's intervention reflects the existing tension within the PSD between different factions of the party, with Passos Coelho positioning himself as a critical but constructive voice regarding Montenegro's leadership.
