Hotel Cascais Miragem is proceeding with a collective dismissal process that has already notified 177 workers. The measure will become effective from November 15.
The Southern Hospitality Union revealed that an 80 million euro investment is planned for the renovation of the hotel. According to the union, the collective dismissal arises as a way for the administration to reduce costs with the operation.
The 177 workers affected by the process will have already received their respective notifications. The union expressed its opposition to this decision, considering that the measure is disproportionate given the announced investment for the renovation of the establishment.
