Nine municipalities belonging to three districts are at maximum fire danger. The Portuguese Institute for the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA) is the source responsible for this information.

According to IPMA, the rural fire danger will remain very high in some regions at least until the end of next week. This situation places several areas of the country in a state of high vulnerability.

The maximum danger warning covers municipalities from three districts, indicating that the risk of forest fire occurrence is extreme in these regions during this period.
