Mêda Heliport tested in an emergency exercise

The Municipal Heliport of Mêda was the setting for an operational exercise designed to test the infrastructure's Emergency Plan, in an action that involved various civil protection, security, and rescue entities.

The exercise was promoted by the Municipality of Mêda, in coordination with the Humanitarian Association of Voluntary Firefighters of Mêda, also counting with the participation of the Sub-Regional Command of Emergency and Civil Protection.

The main objective of the initiative was to test the effectiveness of the heliport's Emergency Plan, verifying the response capacity of the different entities involved in emergency situations.

This type of exercise allows for the identification of any gaps in the action protocols and strengthens coordination among the various forces and services that intervene in emergency situations in the region.
