Évora: Annual Fair of Azaruja returns with four days of music, gastronomy and tradition

The Annual Fair of Azaruja returns to Largo Dr. Barahona, in the municipality of Évora, between September 11 and 14. The event is celebrated annually and represents an important moment for the local community and for the promotion of the region.

The event presents a diversified program that includes musical concerts, traditional gastronomy, handicrafts, local products and sports activities. The musical component features the performances of Banda X, Tiago Miguel & Banda, Kalimotxo Orkestar and Calma & Vento Sul.

The organization of the event has as its main objective to promote Azaruja and its territory, highlighting the traditions and products of the Alentejo region. Largo Dr. Barahona serves as the stage to welcome visitors during the four days of festivities.

"There's a Party in the Village" in Ul

The project "There's a Party in the Village" takes place on September 19 and 20 in the parish of Ul, in Oliveira de Azeméis, at the Molinological Theme Park. Promoted by ATA in partnership with the Association for Integrated Rural Development of the Lands of Santa Maria and with the support of the Municipal Council, the event celebrates traditions, culture and local identity, promoting rural development and the preservation of tangible and intangible heritage. The program includes an eight-kilometer walk, the Festival of Flavors with Identity featuring the traditional Ul Bread, the Village Market, entertainment and activities for all generations, bringing together neighbors, family members and visitors around community memory and a sense of collective belonging.
