Deputies Marcos Pollon, from PL of Mato Grosso do Sul, and Bia Kicis, from PL of the Federal District, signed parliamentary amendments destined to organizations presided over by Karina Gama, owner of the production company responsible for the film "Dark Horse," a biopic of former President Jair Bolsonaro. The Federal Police points out that the Academia Nacional de Cultura was indicated to receive one million reais in amendments from Pollon and 150 thousand reais from Bia Kicis.
According to the investigation, the funds were never actually paid. The PF also notes that the amendments were destined to organizations in São Paulo, despite Pollon having been elected by Mato Grosso do Sul and Bia Kicis by the Federal District. For investigators, this discrepancy may indicate non-compliance with the rules that require a relationship between the parliamentarian's home state and the location benefiting from the amendments.
The investigation also reveals that Instituto Conhecer Brasil, also presided over by Karina Gama, received two million reais in amendments signed by Deputy Mario Frias, from PL of São Paulo. The Federal Police is investigating suspicions of irregularities in the destinations of these parliamentary amendments.
