Temperatures are rising in Portugal, with forecasts indicating maximum values that can reach 39 degrees in various regions of the country. The heat is back after a period of milder temperatures.
There is also the possibility of a yellow warning for hot weather being issued from Saturday. This warning should mainly affect the central-southern regions of mainland Portugal.
Some regions of the country should face tropical nights, with minimum temperatures ranging between 20 and 22 degrees, which means that even during the night the heat will continue to be felt significantly.
