Póvoa de Varzim and Vila do Conde are preparing for one of the hottest weekends of the summer, with temperatures that could reach 30 degrees. After several days of clear skies but with moderate highs, the region is now entering a phase of more expressive warming that promises to fill the beaches in the final stretch of the beach season.
From Friday onwards, the thermal increase becomes more evident, driven by the almost complete absence of cloud cover and the light wind expected. Highs should approach 28 to 30 degrees, creating an environment clearly warmer than that recorded in recent days.
The nights also follow this trend, with lows around 20 degrees in both municipalities. The sea maintains moderate swell and temperature around 18 and 19 degrees, a scenario that continues to favor the presence of bathers and visitors.
With the beach season in its final stretch, this heat peak comes as an opportunity to enjoy the last days of summer in the region, in a weekend that promises to fill the beaches of Póvoa de Varzim and Vila do Conde.
