Sócrates again denied any connection to the purchase of an apartment on Avenue Président Wilson in Paris. The former prime minister was again heard in the Operation Marquês trial, where he challenged the version presented by the Public Ministry about this property.

The Public Ministry has been arguing that Sócrates was involved in the acquisition of this apartment, but the defendant completely rejected this accusation. During his intervention, the former politician tried to dismantle the allegations that have been presented by the panel of judges.

Operation Marquês involves multiple charges against José Sócrates, including financial crimes allegedly committed during his term as prime minister. The trial continues with the presentation of evidence and testimonies from various witnesses and defendants.
