Is it hot in Lisbon? There is a new space in Chiado where you can take refuge for free. On days when walking through the streets of Lisbon becomes a challenge due to high temperatures, there is now one more space where you can stop, cool down, and recover thermal comfort.

The Armazéns do Chiado have joined the Climate Shelters Network | Stay Cool. This new space offers Lisbon residents and visitors a free place to take refuge from intense heat during the hottest months.

The Armazéns do Chiado's joining the climate shelters network aims to provide thermal relief to those in need, functioning as an accessible rest point in the heart of the city during heat waves.
