Pontilhão da Valeta, located in Arcos de Valdevez, achieved sixth place in the "River Beach of the Year" contest, promoted by the River Beaches Guide. This distinction placed the Arcuense space among the ten most voted river beaches nationwide.
The vote had the participation of 216 river beaches and bathing areas from across the country, all of which received votes. According to the River Beaches Guide, thousands of readers and users participated in the vote, which ended on August 31st.
The result highlights the quality of Pontilhão da Valeta, valuing the conditions provided by the space, the freshness of the Vez river waters and the natural setting that surrounds this bathing area.
The ranking reinforces the national visibility of Arcos de Valdevez as a destination associated with nature and leisure, once again placing one of its bathing areas among the most recognized by users nationwide.
