The welcome ceremony for teachers and educators of pre-school education and teaching establishments in Penafiel Municipality took place on September 9th, marking the beginning of the 2026/2027 school year.

The event was attended by teachers from the various education and teaching establishments in the municipality, who were welcomed by the local council.

Penafiel Municipality will welcome approximately 8,800 students this school year, maintaining its support in the areas of school social assistance.
