The first lady Rosângela Lula da Silva, known as Janja, defended the end of the 6x1 work schedule during a political event in Piauí on Wednesday (9). She participated in the event alongside President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

Janja also criticized the Bolsonaro family during her speech at the event. She highlighted the role of women in elections, in public policies, and in Brazilian democracy.

The event in Piauí is part of President Lula's political agenda, as he travels through the Northeast seeking support for his government. Janja's presence alongside her husband demonstrates the PT's strategy of reinforcing female participation in politics.
