PJ investigates stabbing death of man in Olhão

The Judicial Police is investigating the death of a man who was stabbed today inside a house in Olhão. The case involved assaults in a home, resulting in two male victims.

A 43-year-old man died after being stabbed and another, aged 50, was left in serious condition, according to Jornal de Notícias. The Emergency Medical Vehicle and Resuscitation team tried to resuscitate the victims, but the death of the 43-year-old man was declared at the scene.

The Faro PSP, contacted by the Portuguese news agency, declined to provide details about the incident, stating that the case was handed over to the PJ as it involves a crime with a bladed weapon.

The PJ confirmed it had taken over the investigation of the case, but said it would provide more information at a later time.

PSP detects unlicensed car repair workshop in Cabra Figa

The PSP, in coordination with Sintra Municipal Police and the Tax and Customs Authority, detected during an inspection operation on Thursday, September 10, an unlicensed car repair workshop in Cabra Figa, in Rio de Mouro. The action, promoted by Sintra Police Division and the Environmental Protection Brigade (BRIPA), identified several irregularities, including the lack of documentation proving the start of activity, an extinguisher with expired validity date, lack of insurance and environmental permit, signs of vehicle washing with inadequate waste routing, urban and administrative irregularities, and violations of invoicing obligations.
